Philadelphia Fire Department Investigating Frankford Blaze As Arson
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - An adult and child were taken to an area hospital after a fire in the city's Frankford neighborhood early Sunday morning.
Authorities were called out to a three-story home in the 4600 block of Penn Street at around 5 a.m.
Crews arrived to find the bulk of the fire on the first floor with heavy smoke throughout the home.
Authorities say an adult and a child were removed from the second floor and transported to Aria Health Frankford Hospital for treatment. There is no word on their condition.
Police are investigating the fire as a case of arson.
