Philadelphia (CBS) – Young man shot to death in North Philadelphia.

At approximately 11:50 p.m. Philadelphia police responded to a call for gunshots on the highway near the 100 block of West Westmoreland Street.

Upon arrival officers found a 22-year-old man lying on the ground suffering from multiple gun shots to the chest at the corner of Westmoreland and Mutter Streets.

The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a half hour later. His identity has not been released.
