DEPTFORD, NJ (CBS) – The shopping frenzy has begun. Bargain-hunters either never went to bed or got up very early this morning to snag those deals.

There are some certified black-belt shoppers out here, folks that have been doing this for years as part of their post-Thanksgiving tradition.

But, Toys R Us broke tradition this year. In the past, they’ve opened at midnight, but this year, they opened at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving. The manager at the Toys R Us in Deptford says there were a few hundred people waiting for the doors to open. The store will stay open until 11 p.m. on Black Friday.

Many shoppers say they come out with a game plan. One woman says she brought a map with all of her stops laid out. She got started Thanksgiving night at 10 o’ clock.
