Occupy Philly Calls For Thanksgiving Donations

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Occupy Philadelphia is in need of donations for Thanksgiving meals.

Volunteers at the food tent on Dilworth Plaza are excepting to feed Thanksgiving dinner to 300-400 people. Anthony has been dishing out food since day two of the occupation. He says whatever you can bring will be greatly appreciated and you don't even have to get out of your car if you don't want to.

"If you look back here on the north side of City Hall, if you pull around back we have a sign that says "donations." You know, you pull up, hit your horn and someone will come out, unload your car for you, we take it in and as soon as it comes in we hand it out."

Joseph joined Occupy Philadelphia's camp on day one. He says many at the encampment have grown close and have a number of things to be thankful for this holiday.

"Well, we are thankful that we have met each other and thankful that we can all sit together and do this as a team."
