Montgomery County Nonprofit Seeking Volunteers To Prepare Tax Returns

HATFIELD, Pa. (CBS) - A Montgomery County nonprofit is looking for volunteers to help prepare tax returns next year.

You don't have to be a financial wizard or a CPA to help prepare tax returns for low and moderate income residents, according to MaryKate Nicolai of the North Penn United Way.

"We are looking for any volunteer. It doesn't matter if you have experience or not, we provide a tax training and free tax materials from the IRS.

Sixty people are needed to prepare returns, act as interpreters, greeters or site coordinators. You would be needed four hours a week from January through April. Anyone interested should call 215-855-3002.
