New Castle Police Announce Arrest Of Fugitive On Burglary Charges

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – New Castle County Police have announced the arrest of a 27-year-old male wanted for a burglary that occurred in October.

The New Castle County Police and members of the F.B.I. Task Force, following a lengthy investigation, took Anthony Dufaj into custody early Friday morning.

Dufaj, who last known address was on Balsam Road in the Gordy Estates in Wilmington, was linked to a burglary that occurred on October 16, in which prescriptions medication, jewelry and cash were taken from a residence.

Police found Dufaj hiding behind a coach in a fried’s home on the 4500 block of Tarry Lane.

He has been charged with burglary in the second degree, felony theft and two counts of theft of prescription medication.
