Man Charged With Shooting Man In Face In Dover
DOVER, Del. (AP) -- Police have arrested a man accused of shooting another man in the face outside an apartment complex in Dover.
Delaware State Police say 24-year-old Aaron Johnson of Cheswold was taken into custody shortly after the shooting Wednesday night. He's charged with first-degree assault and gun offenses and is being held on $55,000 secured bail.
The victim, a 38-year-old Dover man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Johnson and the victim were involved in an argument that also included several teenagers. Police say the victim was taunting Johnson, who then pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired.
