PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities in Philadelphia say two men were injured, one critically, in a shooting and stabbing on a subway platform in the center of the city.
Police say the gunfire erupted just before 1 a.m. Sunday at the Broad Street Line platform.
A 19-year-old man was shot twice in the back and stabbed in the neck. He was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
A second man in his 20s was shot in the foot. Police say he tried to walk away but collapsed nearby.
Investigators say they do not know the motive for the attack. No suspects were immediately arrested.
