Man Dead After Olney Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a homicide in the city's Olney section.

Officers in the 35th District reported to a radio call of a person with a gun at 100 Fern Street. Upon arrival, they found a 21-year-old black male bleeding heavily from the face.

The man was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead of wounds to his face and shoulder.

The victim did not have identification on him. There is no information on any suspects available at this time.
