PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – West Kensington neighbors in the 2900 block of Jasper Street alerted police when they heard a dog barking and a cry for help coming from an alley around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers arriving on the scene found an elderly woman, who had accidentally fallen out of her second floor window of her home.

Fire fighters rescued the woman from a fenced in area and removed her to a local hospital for treatment. She is said to be recovering in stable condition. It’s not known how or why she fell from her window.
