GLADWYNE, Pa. (CBS) — The westbound lanes of Interstate 76 are closed in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, due to a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer that killed one person.
The accident happened at about 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes just before the Gulph Mills, Route 202 exit.
Pennsylvania State Police officials confirm one person was killed in the multi-vehicle crash. Several other injuries have been reported.
As of 2 p.m., one lane of traffic was squeezing by the accident, but a major traffic back-up stretched from the Roosevelt Boulevard to the Blue Route. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes. View RealTime Traffic for the latest information.
