Football: West Chester At Millersville, Aiming for .500

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- After getting shut out last week by Kutztown, 24-0, the 4-5 West Chester Golden Rams will play their final road game of the 2011 season on Saturday as they visit Millersville.

The loss to Kutztown was played in the midst of the weekend nor'easter that dropped a lot of snow on the West Chester area, and Golden Rams head coach Bill Zwaan says they just couldn't get the engine started against the Golden Bears.

"They're a good team and they made some plays in the first half, and we couldn't match them with the plays," he tells KYW Newsradio.   "And then as the game wore on and the weather got worse, we just struggled moving the ball offensively and they did a good job of controlling the clock."

So, with a two-game losing streak, West Chester will try to turn it around on Saturday as they face a young Millersville team that is 3-6 but, Zwaan says, is improving every week.

"It's a team that we really have to battle to win this week.  Because we have got to get ourselves back on track.  We have had two tough football games and we need to have a positive outcome this week," Zwaan says.

Kickoff on Saturday in Millersville is set for 1:00pm.
