Police Seek Driver Of Car That Crashed Into House

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) -- New Castle County police are looking for the driver of a car that backed into a house and broke a gas line, forcing evacuations.

It happened about 1:35 a.m. Friday on Aberdeen Circle. Police found an SUV that had backed into a home. Residents were evacuated until the broken gas line was fixed.

Officers say the driver of the SUV, 25-year-old Eder Juarez of New Castle, fell asleep in the driver's seat, and the vehicle traveled in reverse, crashing into the home. Police say Juarez fled the scene and is being sought.
