Three Men Rob Delaware Hotel

NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Delaware State Police say three New Hampshire men were assaulted by intruders who robbed them as they played cards in a hotel room.

The three victims ranging in age from 40 to 52 were playing cards in a room at the Days Inn Hotel in Newark when three intruders barged through a door that was left slightly open early Saturday.

One of the male intruders began to strike all three men with a handgun as he demanded money. The trio took an undisclosed amount of money and other property before fleeing.

One of the men was taken to Christiana Hospital, where was being treated for multiple serious injuries. The other two men received injuries to their faces, but declined treatment.
