Delaware Police Seeking Man Who Robbed Pizza Delivery Driver

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are searching for a suspect who attacked and robbed a pizza deliveryman late Tuesday evening.

The robbery happened at about 11:50 p.m. at the Glen Eagle Village Apartment complex on Sandalwood Drive in Newark.

According to investigators, the 52-year-old deliveryman went to an address given by a caller, but the resident said that they did not place an order.

As the victim was returning to his car, he was approached by a suspect who had his face concealed.

As the victim attempted to flee, the suspect grabbed him and demanded his money. The victim complied and handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'0", approximately 210 lbs. with a muscular build and was wearing all dark clothing.
