PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - After an overtime loss last time out to the Los Angeles Kings, the Flyers will try to get back in the win column tonight as they visit the Ottawa Senators.
Peter Laviolette’s squad is now 3-0-1, one point behind first-place Pittsburgh in the Atlantic Division, but the Pens have played three more games than the Flyers to this point in the young season.
It’s been a struggle for Ottawa so far in 2011, just one win in five games, and they have allowed an alarming 23 goals in those five contests.
KYW’s Matt Leon spoke with Sam Carchidi, the Flyers beat writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, about the match-up and the Flyers’ start.
