PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Someone in the Philadelphia area is $200,000 richer today.
One Powerball ticket worth $200,000 from the October 12th drawing was sold at the Sunoco station on the 8200 block of Stenton Avenue.
The ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 10-12-23-43-47, but not the red Powerball 18, for a $200,000 prize.
Lottery officials cannot confirm the identity of the October 12th winner until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim.
The Powerball jackpot drawing on October 15th is now at an estimated annuity value of $105 million, or $65.7 million cash.
