Deer An Unexpected Guest At A Chester County Sprint Store

WAYNE, Pa. (CBS) - A Chester County Sprint store had an unexpected guest Monday afternoon.

The manager and worker inside the store on Route 202 in Tredyffrin Township were stunned when a deer walked through the front door, jumped the counter between them and began rampaging through a rear storage area.

Fearing the buck would hurt someone, they immediately fled the store, closed the door and calling police.

As officers arrived and tried to locate the deer, it was busy bounding through the storage area, knocking over boxes and demolishing a sink in a bathroom after apparently being startled by his image in a mirror.

Finally, after half an hour, the deer emerged and darted out the front door racing away across the parking lot, bleeding from cuts but not seriously injured.

The Sprint workers say they are grateful no one, including the deer, was badly hurt.
