Day Three Of 'Occupy Philadelphia' And No End In Sight

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Demonstrators protesting the so-called greed of corporate America continue to make their presence known outside Philadelphia's City Hall at the "Occupy Philadelphia" protest, where a march to the Liberty Bell Pavilion was part of day three.

Chanting, "This is what democracy looks like," several hundred demonstrators moved from City Hall across the lawn of Independence Mall and gathered outside the Liberty Bell Pavilion.

Lauren and her pit bull, Shady, were among the protesters.

"This is Shady, and she doesn't like cats, especially corporate fat cats. She is wearing a shirt that says 'Say no to corporate fat cats,' and in the front, it says, 'Dogs rule, fat cats drool,'" Lauren explained.

Many others who were out at the movement said that they're not going anywhere, and they're not sure how long they'll be at the make-shift camp, where the city has provided one electrical outlet, and solar panels have been installed.

The protesters have also received a permit, and Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey was out and about keeping an eye on things.

"I mean people have a right to gather, a right to protest, and we are here to protect that right," Ramsey said.

Many people participating in "Occupy Philadelphia" said they're 100-percent behind the "Occupy Wall Street" movement that has been taking place in New York for the past three weeks.
