Boy Struck By SEPTA Bus In Oxford Circle

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A boy was struck by a SEPTA bus in the Oxford Circle section of Philadelphia Tuesday.

The accident happened at about 3:40 p.m. on Oxford Avenue near Frontenac Street.

Eyewitness News has learned the boy was rescued by firefighters after being trapped underneath the bus for approximately 20 minutes.

The victim was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately available.
