Rough Morning For Philly Sports Fans

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It was an extra-cup-of-coffee kind of morning for Phillies fans after the late-night disappointment of the game-two loss to St. Louis.

Philadelphia sports fans like John from North Philly say, after watching two ugly losses yesterday (first the Eagles, and then the Phillies) it was tough crawling out from under the blankets this morning.

"Yeah it was, give away two games like that -- Phillies, they had 4-0 lead, they blew that. They'll bounce back Tuesday, hopefully. The Eagles, I don't know, now that's a different story."

Tony was one of the fans in that record-setting crowd at Citizens Bank Park last night and, with only about an hour of sleep, he had to catch a train to get back in time for work in New York City.

"It was a cold, damp, rainy, wet loss, but hey it's best-of-five, so we have to get 'em game three, game four."

Phillies fans say it'll take a strong outing from pitcher Cole Hamels tomorrow in St. Louis, especially since the Phillies hitters tend to struggle against Cardinals scheduled starting pitcher Jaime Garcia.
