Phils Get Fans Pumped Up At Block Party And Rally, No Ticket Needed

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies are making their fifth straight trip to the playoffs. Game one of the NLDS begins at 5:07 and it highlights a full day at the sports complex.

Temple is playing host at the Linc for a noon kick off while the Phils get their fans ready at a pregame block party.

Right outside of Citizens Bank Park, the Phils are getting fans pumped up at a block party beginning at 2 p.m. No game ticket is needed to enjoy the food, games, live music and a 3:30 rally.

To get you to the game closer to first pitch, there will be six extra sports express trains on Septa's broad street line; running every ten minutes beginning at 3:48.

The Market-Frankford Line is also offering extra trains to take you to City Hall.

Finally, the PPA is offering a deal of five dollars to park at the garage at 15th and JFK in Center City. You'll just have to show your game ticket on the way out.

They will also have tokens available to get you to South Philadelphia just in time for NLDS game one.
