4-Year-Old Boy Struck By Car, Injured In Delaware

MILLSBORO, Del. (AP) – Delaware State Police say a 4-year-old boy is in the hospital after he was struck by a car in Millsboro.

Police say 80-year-old Gloria Altemose of Millsboro was driving on Oak Orchard Road in Millsboro on Saturday when the front of her car struck 4-year-old Caleb
Smith of Blades. The young boy was trying to cross the road.

Smith was taken to Beebe Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident is under investigation.
