Neumann-Goretti High School Coach Charged With Sexual Assault

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The baseball coach at a Philadelphia Catholic high school is behind bars charged with sexually assaulting a boy and drugging another at a hotel.

Thirty-seven-year-old Louis Spadaccini was arraigned early Thursday on charges including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse involving a 13-year-old boy. The Neumann-Goretti High School coach was ordered held on $1 million bail in that case.

Spadaccini was charged earlier in the week (previous story) with endangerment and corruption of a minor after police say he plied a 14-year-old student at the school with alcohol and a Xanax-spiked drink.

Spadaccini has been suspended from his part-time coaching job and his position as a court crier.

It was not immediately clear if Spadaccini had an attorney.

  1. ANGRY and FRUSTRATED teacher says:

I have posted before about people becoming teachers for the sole purpose of abusing children. Can someone tell me where a real teacher can find a job? I can’t get a teaching position because PERVERTS are getting hired and ruining the profession, instead of people who actually want to be a teacher because they believe in the value of education.

ATTENTION TEACHERS WHO CREEP ON STUDENTS: PLEASE LEAVE THE PROFESSION IMMEDIATELY SO STUDENTS CAN GO TO SCHOOL IN PEACE AND US REAL TEACHERS CAN GET A JOB! DO YOU EVEN REALIZE THE PERMANENT DAMAGE YOU DO TO THE STUDENT, THEIR FAMILY, AND EVEN THE DISGRACE YOU BRING TO YOUR OWN FAMILY? YOUR MOTHER MUST BE COMPLETELY EMBARRASSED OF YOU!
