The 98.1 WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon Raises $471,536 For The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The 98.1 WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon raised $471, 536 for The Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In the past ten years, 98.1 WOGL has raised $4,771,149 for Children’s Hospital.

A highlight of the two-day Radiothon was an amazing one time donation of $50,000 from our friends Phil Cannella and Joann Small of The Crash Proof Retirement Show, making there two year donation total $100,000. They are the single largest contributors in the 10-year radiothon history.

The 98.1 WOGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon aired Friday, September 9th and Saturday, September 10th on WOGL-FM. Donations were taken by phone, on line and in person. The Radiothon was broadcast live from a brand new location-Ryan Seacrest’s “The Voice” studios located in the Colket Atrium of at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. WOGL hosts Ross Brittain and Valerie Knight of the Breakfast Club presented the check for $4,771,149 from 98.1 WOGL to Children’s Hospital.
