Wednesday's Child: Ajanai

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Whether it's through her beautiful, expressive eyes, or through her hobby -- fashion -- eleven-year-old Ajanai can't help expressing herself.  She loves playing basketball, dancing, and listening to her favorite artist: Justin Bieber.

She'd love a permanent family and she has an idea about the kind of parents she'd like.

"Nice people, kind and sweet," she says.

Her social worker, Attaiyya Point-du-Jour, says Ajanai's lighthearted spirit affects everyone around her, and she has a lot to bring to a permanent family.

"Oh, fun -- she's very fun-spirited," Point-du-Jour says.  "It won't be quiet if it's a quiet family -- at first it might be, but then, no more.  And love, a lot of love."

Gloria Hochman, from the National Adoption Center in Philadelphia, says Ajanai is a social butterfly.

"She is a very spunky little girl who's eleven years old and is full of fun and would bring such joy to a family," Hocman says.
