Police Probe Double Homicide In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are investigating a double homicide in West Philadelphia Monday night.
The shooting happened in an apartment near Wiota and Filbert streets in the West Powelton section of the city at about 9 p.m. According to authorities, a male, presumed to be in his late 40s or 50s, was shot once in the right side of the head. A second victim, a female in her early 40s, was shot once in the chest.
Both of the unidentified victims were pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, police have not named any suspects nor has a weapon been recovered.
The investigation continues.
