Cherry Hill Police Announce Arrest In 'Windshield Baseball' Case
CHERRY HILL, N.J. (CBS) -- Cherry Hill Police have arrested a man they say smashed the windows out of dozens of cars in several neighborhoods in South Jersey.

Vandals play it by riding around with a baseball bat and smashing out the windshields of parked cars. Police say 22-year-old Paul Cherfane of Cherry Hill used his red Land Rover to play the game, breaking the glass on more than 30 cars in Cherry Hill, Haddon township and Oaklyn, NJ.
"So far, our estimated total damage for all these vehicles is in excess of 30,000," said Cherry Hill Police Sargeant Joseph Vitarrelli.
Vitarelli says police used surveillance video and paint left at the scene to hone in on the suspect. He says Cherfane turned himself in on September 2nd and now faces more than 30 charges of criminal mischief.
