NFL: Eagles Cut Four More Players
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - As the Eagles get ready for their final preseason game on Thursday, on the road against the New York Jets, they have cut four players.
WR Gerald Jones, TE Martell Webb, T Spencer Johnson, and DB Jamar Wall were all let go today.
Jones had turned some heads with his two-touchdown performance in the Eagles' preseason loss to the Steelers, but it proved not to be enough for him to make the team.
The Eagles now have 81 players on the roster; they need to get down to 80 by 4:00PM tomorrow.
