The museum’s John Brady says the calendar is action-packed.
“We’re going to do a month of maritime events at Penn’s Landing right on the river that will range from ships doing pirate battles, sailboat races, to a wooden boat festival.”
There’ll be tall ships on the Delaware for your viewing and sailing pleasure, and, on the 17th, Talk like a Pirate Day — and you’re encouraged to dress the part.
“What we’re trying to show people is what a great place this river is both historically and as a place to be entertained.”
