Phillies Move Day Game From Sunday To Saturday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Phillies announced today that their game previously scheduled for Sunday, August 28th, against the Florida Marlins is being moved up one day due to the threat of severe weather from Hurricane Irene.

The game will be played as part of a day-night doubleheader on Saturday, August 27th, at 1:05pm, and will include the gym bag giveaway for fans 14 and under.   All gates will open at 11:05am for the 1:05pm game.

The regularly scheduled game on Saturday evening, August 27th, will still begin at 7:05pm.

The Phillies starters are scheduled to be righthander Roy Halladay for the 1:05pm game and lefty Cliff Lee for the 7:05pm game.
