Delaware County Makes Arrest In 4-Year-Old Murder Case

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Delaware County have arrested two men in connection with a 4-year-old murder in the city of Chester.

Eric Caldwell was shot and killed on a Chester street in May 2007. Now, Delaware County District Attorney Mike Green says 27-year-old James Armstrong and 30-year-old Rashad Ishmail, both of Chester, are in custody, charged with murder and weapons offenses.

He says the suspects allegedly approached Caldwell demanding money.

"Caldwell, apparently startled by that began to run from the scene, Armstrong and Ishmail followed him on foot, cornering him and ruthlessly gunning him down, each of them firing multiple shots into Mr. Caldwell," said Green.

He said officials are also investigating the suspects' possible connection or involvement with three other Chester killings.
