PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police have released a sketch of a man they think may be a serial rapist. According to police, the same suspect is wanted in connection with two incidents in the northeast.


Police say both victims describe a thin, white man in his 20′s or 30′s, with reddish brown, close cut hair and scruffy facial hair. In the most recent incident, on August third, a 24-year-old woman told police she accepted a ride with him, at Torresdale and Longshore Avenues, and he drove her to Pennypack Park and sexually assaulted her.

A 26-year-old victim described a similar attack on July 16th. Both attacks took place about 2:30 in the morning.

Police say the man was driving a newer model white pick-up with a ladder and lader racks.
