Andy Reid Says The Team Is Ready For Pre-Season

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It is another day of workouts for the Eagles at Lehigh.

After nearly a week and a half of workouts, the dog days of training camp are beginning to take their toll on the Eagles.

Andy Reid was impressed with how his players handled the adversity.

“The last couple of days, the guys have been pushing themselves through. We’ve kind of hit that time when it’s hot and humid. Bodies are tired, minds are tired, and they’re pushing through.”

The Eagles have another day of workouts on Monday before getting a day off on Tuesday. They open the pre-season on Thursday at home against Baltimore.

The Eagles are ready to make their Super Bowl run this year. This is the best team Andy Reid has put together since the 2005 team that went to the Super Bowl.
