Philadelphia's Criminal Justice Center Evacuated Following Hazmat Scare
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia's Criminal Justice Center was evacuated Saturday afternoon following a hazmat scare.
Hazmat crews rushed to the 1300 block of Filbert Street at about 2 p.m. The entire building was evacuated as authorities investigated the scene.
Police said a cleaning product leaked into the cooling system. Most of the building will be closed for the weekend as crews work to repair the issue.
No injuries were reported.
