Phillies, Phans Travel Back To The '80s For Retro Night At The Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies helped fans time travel back to the '80s before and during their game against the Padres on Friday. It was all a part of the Phillies 1980s Retro Night at Citizens Bank Park.

The Bud Light Rooftop was abuzz on Friday night as dozens of Phillies fans dressed in retro grear boogied down a soul train line befitting only a good old fashion 80s house party.

"We're having a wonderful time, we have the storm troopers here," said one phan.

Celebrity look alikes- such as Billy Idol, MC Hammer and Darth Vader took photos with fans. Phillies Public Affairs Director Scott Palmer even came dressed as Sonny Crockett from Miami Vice.

"It's just totally 80s! You know, let's just turn back the clock!"

In addition to the dance party, 1980s Phillies relief pitcher Al Holand signed autographs and threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
