Patrick Kennedy Weds NJ Schoolteacher In Cape Cod


HYANNIS PORT, MASS. (AP) — Patrick Kennedy, a former eight-term congressman from Rhode Island, has married Amy Petitgout
 in a private Cape Cod ceremony.


U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer officiated at the event, held Friday at the Kennedy’s oceanside compound in Massachusetts.


The 44-year-old Kennedy is the son of the late Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy. He represented Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District as a Democrat for 16 years. Since leaving Congress in January, he has been named a visiting fellow at Brown University and has campaigned to improve brain research.

    KENNEDYS ARE NOT ROYALTY! We live in the U.S.A. We have NO royalty. The Kennedys are the same as everyone else in the world. If you want to report this wedding, that is fine but there is NO royalty in this situation.
