Pedestrian Struck By Car In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Northeast Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The accident happened near the intersection of Tacony and Comly Streets in the city’s Tacony neighborhood.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigators say the driver of the striking vehicle did stop at the scene. So far, no charges have been filed.

The accident remains under police investigation.

    i waited on the 84 bus 1 hour for the bus driver to be told by the superviser to make a left and go down torresdale ave when all the passengers told him the same thing the bus driver had to tell the superviser which way he could go before getting the ok

      Maybe he did look both ways……,Maybe the driver of the car was going too fast, texting or talking on his cell phone like so many people do….Maybe everyone should just pray for this man to survive instead of trying to place blame.
