PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) — Anchor Chris May and a Channel 3 crew left for Washington Wednesday night. May was granted a one-on-one interview with President Obama at the White House.

Since joining CBS 3 in 2007, May has distinguished himself with his versatility as an anchor on the set and in the field, especially with his political coverage from the 2008 Democratic and Republican Conventions.
Prior to CBS 3, May covered a number of national political stories including the 2004 Democratic and Republican National Conventions, three State of the Union addresses, three presidential inaugurations, and the Supreme Court arguments that helped settle the 2000 race for the White House.
