HOLMES, Pa. (CBS) - A Montgomery County-based organization that helps families become self-sufficient is asking for the public’s help in supplying the families with the things they need.
Pathways PA helps women and their families to become self-sufficient with a variety of services. But many of these families need even the essentials to get started.
So, Pathways is asking the public to look around to see if there are any gently used items that others could use.
“Many of them don’t have the opportunity to get professional clothing or even other types of clothing that you would wear to work, like scrubs for instance,” says Marianne Bellesorte, Pathways’ senior director of policy. “So this is really an opportunity for families in the area to take the things that they’re not using and bring them to our families.”
If you can help, call Pathways PA at 610-543-5022.
