3 Injured After Van Overturns In Cheltenham

CHELTENHAM, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Cheltenham are investigating a vehicular accident that left three people seriously injured Sunday afternoon.

Philadelphia and Cheltenham Police as well as rescue crews were called out to Cheltenham Avenue and Old York Road at about 2:30 p.m. following a report of overturned van.

Upon arrival, police found two people trapped in the vehicle and a third person partially trapped underneath. Police said the third victim's arm was pinned by the van and crews worked together to lift the vehicle and extricate the person.

All three victims were transported to Albert Einstein Hospital where two of the victims are in critical condition and the third is in serious condition, according to police.
