PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police have taken two suspects into custody in connection with a shooting in Northeast Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

Police say around 1:30 a.m., a man was found shot in a car in the 5200 block of Roosevelt Boulevard in the city’s Lawncrest section.

The man was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. Police say he was shot with a rifle.

About an hour after the shooting, SWAT team members took two suspects into custody from a home in the 1200 block of Cheltenham Avenue.

The incident remains under police investigation.
