SportsRadio 610 WIP And 94 WYSP Send Two Listeners To The Tastykake Bakery To Vote Continuously For Shane Victorino

PHILADELPHIASportsRadio 610 WIP and 94 WYSP have picked two listeners who have vowed to vote continuously until 4pm Thursday when voting ends in the 2011 All-Star Game Sprint Final Vote sponsored by Sprint.  CBS Radio is hoping to help push Center Fielder Shane Victorino into this year's 82nd All-Star Game to be held at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday, July 12th.

WIP's voter Mike Redden of Parkside, PA and WYSP's voter Jesse Slaton of Glenolden, PA are the two lucky listeners voting continuously for Shane Victorino now through Thursday, July 7th at 4PM.  The two voters will have their laptops and will be "living" in the Tastykake Bakery until voting closes out at 4PM Thursday. The voters will have use of a restroom and will be fed delicious Tastykakes throughout the voting process.

Since MLB can track how many votes each person casts, the listener who votes the most at the Tastykake Bakery wins 2 VIP tickets to this Sunday's Phils game and will receive a special on-field recognition before the game in front of 45,000 fans (with a special surprise to be announced later this week)!  The second place winner wins an autographed Shane Victorino jersey, courtesy of the Majestic Clubhouse Store.

In 2009, Sportsradio 610 WIP held a similar contest to help push Victorino into the 2009 All-Star Game. Sportsradio 610 WIP also helped to push Pat Burrell into the 2008 All- Star Game.

Fans are urged to help Victorino join his teammates Polanco, Halladay, Hamels and Lee for the 82nd Midsummer Classic by going to Phillies.com and voting as often as possible.
