PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A 3-year-old girl is in critical condition after being shot in the city’s Feltonville section Saturday night.

Police were called out to the 4800 block of B Street a little after 10 p.m. after they received reports of a little girl wounded in a shooting. The investigation revealed that a fight ensued between two men who pulled out guns and opened fire multiple times near a crowd.

Authorities said the little girl was struck in the neck by a stray bullet. She was rushed to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children where doctors performed surgery on her late Saturday night.

Police said no others were injured during the shooting and the gunmen were apprehended. No charges have been filed at this time.
