GLOUCESTER CITY, N.J. (CBS) – Police in a Camden County town are investigating a shooting that left a man hospitalized.

The shooting happened in the 200 block of North Broadway in Gloucester City, New Jersey.

According to investigators, a 21-year-old male was rushed to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition after being shot in the chest.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting and a motive remain under investigation.
