Home Video Report: Some Recent, Some Recycled, Some Redone

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An interesting mix on this week’s video list.

Jeff Bridges straps on an eye patch for a new version of the movie that helped John Wayne win an Oscar in ’69: True Grit.

The Company Men features Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper, and Tommy Lee Jones as executives laid off from their high-paying jobs and forced to find new incomes and identities.

Another Year is director Mike Leigh’s take on the lives of a long-married couple and their maladjusted friends.

And, for those fascinated by Marx Brothers movies, five of their features are being rereleased as singles for about twenty bucks each.

There’s Animal Crackers, The Cocoanuts, Duck Soup, Horse Feathers, and Monkey Business.  Apparently other features will come later.  Let’s hope!
