PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - To get ready for an 11-day, NBA-sponsored trip to China, two of the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers are learning how to sign autographs in Chinese and perform a traditional Chinese dance.
In the rotunda of the Penn Museum in West Philadelphia this afternoon, Erica and Danielle said are thrilled to be making their second trip to China.
“There’s a lot of great exhibits we got to go to, and dancing in front of our fans there was a great experience,” says Erica. “The food was a little different there, and I had to get used to that, but now I know what to pick and what not to pick!”
Both learned a ribbon dance today from members of the the University of Pennsylvania Pan-Asian Dance Troupe, then sat with museum docent Rebecca Fu to practice signing their names in Chinese.
