<i>Analysis: The Impact Of Celebrity Scandals On America

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The nation has been shocked by a series of celebrity sex scandals lately. And a variety of experts have thoughts as to why they think some Americans are channeling Hollywood into their home.

He's one of the area's top divorce/family lawyers. Chris Badali says that the glamour scandals are being played out in local cases more and more. In fact, he sees a rise in the number of women who are running astray.

"I think there are probably more men that get themselves into these types of Arnold Schwarzenegger situations than women. I do think it has changed a lot. I've been practicing for 15 years and I have certainly seen a lot more of unfaithfulness involving women and women clients coming in."

The Daily News columnist Ronnie Polaneski has written tough words about Arnold Schwarzenegger and others who have scandalized not just their marriages but left an imprint on their children.

"If we look at the case of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver - you know she comes from a high profile family. She married a high profile guy and she kind of knew what that whole scene would come with. Their children didn't ask for any of this and I feel so bad for those kids and I feel really bad for the child of the housekeeper. I mean what does this child do with all of this now, you know?"
