PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia’s Center city District wants you to join them for Happy Hour on Wednesdays.
Center City District’s summertime “Sips” promotion is officially underway:
“Every Wednesday from 5-7, June 1st through August 31st, the participating bars and restaurants offer $4 cocktails, $3 wine, $2 beer and half priced appetizers.”
Michelle Shannon with the Center City District says this is their best year so far for ‘Sips’. “We’ve got 85 participants, that’s more than we’ve ever had.”
She says Sips is a great first date – or a great way to get a first date.
“Get there a little early and get glamed up! There are a lot of good people watching out there, so if you’re on the market…”
And this year, there’s something new, adds Shannon. “The one think we’re really excited about is that we have a new Center City Sips app that you can download and it will help you find the closest Sips bar, and it’ll list their specials!”
