PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – This is certainly not the day that you want to hear about work obligations or how to use a computer effectively. Today is a day where we spend time with our family and friends and do all we can to relax and think about other things than work — or if we have to work the hope is that there will be another day to make up for it. But the point that I want to make is a simple one.
Try to focus on stress reduction today. Tap into the free time you have and relax. While you are doing it, think about what makes you relax. Is it being with family, playing a sport or actually taking time to enjoy a relaxed meal. Whatever it happens to be, take some time to reflect about how you can take these lessons and make them part of your day to day activity. This could be a holiday that helps change your life if you let it.
